Séissmo market research activities are coming to an end. The knowledge portal will remain available.

As of 31 October 2025, Séissmo will cease its market research activities. The website will remain available as a knowledge portal for qualitative research.

We would like to thank the people who made Séissmo what it is: All our clients for their confidence and the work we have accomplished together. Our partners and Pforzheim University for their continued professional support. Each study was a testament to teamwork. Each presentation, evaluation and report was a testament to the care and respect with which participants’ voices were treated. This approach remains the benchmark for all of the knowledge that will continue to be publicly accessible.

Since February 2001, Séissmo has been synonymous with deep qualitative understanding, clear methodologies and substantiated conclusions. Field interviews, moderated focus groups, context analysis and careful interpretation have been at the heart of our work. The Séissmograph, our self-financed fundamental project, has been the starting point for countless reports that provide guidance for both research and practice, in fields ranging from everyday culture and consumer contexts to questions at the intersection of society, business and education. International work has sharpened our awareness of nuances across languages and cultures, while our exchanges with students from the universities of Pforzheim, Stuttgart and Potsdam have also enabled us to pass on our methods to the next generation. This legacy will remain visible. The methods, analyses and selected results that will remain available on the knowledge portal for the foreseeable future are designed to be verifiable and citable. Anyone who is carrying out or commissioning qualitative research will find guidance and substance there.

Our market research activities will come to an end on 31 October 2025. Until then, we will complete ongoing projects and document any subsequent steps.
